“We are not afraid to entrust the American people with unpleasant facts, foreign ideas, alien philosophies and competitive values. For a nation that is afraid to let its people judge the truth and falsehood in an open market is a nation that is afraid of its people.”
President John F. Kennedy

Contrast that with this quote from Katherine Graham, Washington Post  publisher and member of the Council on Foreign Relations.

“We live in a dirty and dangerous world. There are some things the general public does not need to know, and shouldn’t. I believe democracy flourishes when the government can take legitimate steps to keep its secrets and when the press can decide whether to print what it knows.”
Katherine Graham, editor of the Washington Post

As the billboard trucks and advertisements of the Media Research Center travel through the centers of media power calling for the Truth, I encourage you to ask yourself whether the truth is a good thing for YOU to know, and why.

My answer is a  clear, resounding, YES!  A  government for the people, by the people and of the people, ought to know what the people are doing and what difficulties they are  up against.

Who exactly are “the people?”  Are you one of them?  And who are “they?” Are you one of them? To me,  these are very important questions for all of US to answer clearly.

E Pluribus Unum- out of many, One.

great seal US
